A Designated REALTOR® is a licensed Broker who is the responsible member for at least one office.
I am Newly Licensed, Can I join the Board?
Yes! You can join GLAR if you are currently sponsored by a Broker and have documents supporting proof of sponsorship. Your Broker will go over sponsorship documents with you to been sent to TREC. The TREC website should show you hold an active license with your sponsor before we are able to process you as a member. You may check your status here.
How Much are Dues?
Due totals are based off the type of membership you seek with the Association: REALTOR®, Broker, and Affiliate. You may reference these charts to figure out dues or contact us.
Annual Dues for fiscal year beginning January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017.
When is New Member Orientation?
New Member Orientation is generally held on the third Wednesday of every month from 8:30-2:30
We hold one evening Orientation once per Quarter from 5:00 – 8:00
What is the Code of Ethics Course?
Code of Ethics is required to be completed within 10 days of joining an Association of REALTORS® and is a 2 hour online course. Upon processing your application, the Membership Coordinator will email you with your NRDS number and instructions on completing the course. The course can be found here.
How do I access the MLS?
New REALTORS® gain access to the MLS once they complete their mandatory NAR Code of Ethics course online and email us a copy of their certificate.
How do I get my Keycard/Keybox?
Just like with MLS, a new REALTOR® may get their Keycard upon completing their Code of Ethics. You may come in any time during business hours to pick up a key. We have two different styles available to you and you may view them here.
